Much of the information listed here has been obtained from publicly available sources that are available for you to use to extend and improve the family trees shown. These are some of the sources used -
FreeBMD - for free access to the central Birth, Marriage and Death registration indexes for England and Wales - 1837 to 1950’s
FamilySearch (new version) - international source for parish and census records
FamilySearch (original version) - less data but with a more familiar search method
1901 Census England and Wales - pay site but with free access to indexes even though there are lots of mistakes in the transcriptions
1911 Census England and Wales - pay site but with free access to indexes
UK BMD - for access to various regional Birth, Marriage and Death registration indexes. Here the marriage indexes often provide the name of both bride and groom. With FreeBMD you can often have two or more to pick from.
