This family line has - so far - not been linked to any other Strangeway families; so has been given its own page. Hopefully someone out there will have some information that will solve this piece of the puzzle.
Update 5-Jan-2011 - A marriage record gives the name of William George’s father as Matthew; which would link this branch of the tree to the Nottingham and Preston families. More research needed...
Update 6-Jan-2011 - New info from Lancashire BMD and an 1871 Census entry transcribed as Strangsway points to Matthew and Elizabeth (nee Gibson) being the parents of William George - see Preston Families
