Strangways of Ireland

This family has not yet been traced back to any of the various English family lines.

However there is family belief that they share a common ancestry and coat of arms with the earliest Strangeway generations.

One possibility is that this William S Strangways is William Sealy (Ceely) Strangways and thus links to the Bull-Strangways family tree. However there is other evidence that puts the family in Ireland for at least two earlier generations.
